What is Faith Kids?

Faith Kids is the overall ministry heading that we use for our kids age infant through 5th grade. We believe that our kids are just as important to the life of the church as the adults; they are the next generation of preachers, prayer team intercessors, greeters, evangelists, teachers, and more. We are planting seeds that can be nurtured and grow as they go from nursery to preschool to elementary to youth and to adulthood. Our children are called and are purposed; they were created for “such a time as this”. Our goal is to help them discover through scripture who they are in Christ and how to walk in relationship with the Lord.

We also believe that our role is to empower parents to feed and lead their children into all that God has for them. We use The Bible App for Kids to help children bring the lessons that they learn in Faith Kids into their homes to share with their families. Parents can download the app and begin sharing time in God’s word together with their kids.

Scripture tells us that children are a blessing and that we have a responsibility to raise them to know God personally for themselves! Faith Kids is made up of Early Childhood and Elementary groups. The following is how we break up the different age groups to effectively accomplish that.

CLASSES

Faith kids is made up of Early Childhood and Elementary groups. The following is how we break up the different age groups to effectively accomplish that.

It’s never too early to show someone Jesus! We welcome children into nursery from age 6 weeks to runners (approximately 16 months).  Although our first concern is general infant care such as diapering and feeding your baby, our Nursery team takes great joy in showing children the love of God by praying over them, rocking them and playing with them.  We love babies!

This room is made up of toddlers (16 months) to potty trained (approximately age 3) kids. Children in this classroom are encouraged to play with other children, worship, and taught simple Bible lessons that help them to grow in their understanding of God. This class sets the foundation of Biblical truths and the love of Jesus.

This room is made up of potty-trained through kindergarten kids. Children are taught about their identity in Christ through games, prayer, teaching, songs and outdoor activities. They even begin memorizing scripture in this class. We let our Kids be kids and love them just like Jesus does!

This team creates an environment where elementary age (1st – 5th grade) children encounter God in a fun, inspirational, and life transforming way. Children’s ministry is a great way to pour healthy Biblical foundations into these young lives. We build life-giving relationships with kids through teaching, worship, small groups, games and more.

This team helps parents safely and securely check their kids into the proper class rooms. Our system is fast and easy to use with volunteers on hand to assist you with any help you may need.
