DREAM TEAM

What’s Dream Team All About?

Saved people serve people, and serving people should be fun! Dream Team is the name we use to refer to the all of the volunteers who are making a real impact on people through serving. Ministry is a team sport, and you will never be stuck in a ministry area that is not a right fit for you.

Where Can I Serve?

Next Generation

Faith Kids

Nursery: It’s never too early to show someone Jesus! This team takes care of babies as early as 6 weeks to runners (approximately 16 months).  Although general infant care such as diapering and feeding take place, this is a time to pray over and minister to the hearts of babies. As a nursery worker, you will always have lots of opportunities to show kids the love of the Father.

16mo – 3yrs: From runners (approximately 16 months) to potty trained (approximately age 3), this group is always full of excitement! As a member of this team, you will show the toddlers safety and love as you care, teach, sing, and play with the kids. This class really sets the foundation of Biblical truths and the love of Jesus. You can serve in a teaching or supporting role.

4yrs – Kindergarten: As a volunteer on this team, you will pour into the children their identity in Christ through games, prayer, teaching, songs, and outdoor activities. We let our kids be kids and love them just like Jesus does! You can serve in a teaching or supporting role.

1st – 5th Grade: This team creates an environment where elementary age (1st – 5th grade) children encounter God in a fun, inspirational, and life-transforming way. Children’s ministry is a great way to pour healthy Biblical foundations into these young lives. Through teaching, worship, videos, skits, small groups, puppets, games and more, the team intentionally invests in the lives of our children. You can serve in a teaching or support role.

Faith Kids Buddies: Faith Kids Buddies exists to make sure every child and family feels cared for and shown the love of Jesus, regardless of how much care they need. We partner with families to give the support a child with special needs deserves on a case-by-case basis so they can participate in Faith Kids while their parents attend church and take their place in the Body of Christ. Each child is assigned a buddy who will work one-on-one with them in our Faith Kids classes until they need a break; then they will visit our resource room equipped with sensory toys, videos, and other resources that point to Jesus.

Faith Kids Check-In: As families arrive at our Kids areas, this team welcomes them and facilitates the computer check-in process that ensures children are cared for effectively and efficiently.

MATT25

River City Mission Outreach: If you have a heart for the homeless, those who deal with rejection, and love to cook you will fall in love with this place as much as our team has. We take a delicious home cooked meal out every other Sunday evening. Our team prepares the meals, serves them, provides fellowship and ministers through prayer, bringing the word and through worship. Each visit is approximately 3 ½- 4 hours which gives us quality time to build relationships and present Jesus.

Lifeline Recovery Center Outreach: This is our Men’s outreach ministry. If you have a heart for men trying to escape the grips of addiction, a desire to build relationships with other Godly men on the team as well as those we are serving and ministering to, this might be your place! One Friday night a month we take dessert, play games, and show these men that they can still have fun sober and while serving the Lord!

Van Ministry: Matt25’s Van Ministry exists to pick up residents from various recovery centers and homeless missions. We believe not having transportation to church shouldn’t stand in the way of someone growing their relationship in Christ. If you like driving and being a vessel for getting people to the house of the Lord this is the ministry for you!

Donut Sunday: 5th Sundays are for donuts! Join us in the foyer every month with a 5th Sunday and help us raise money for our community or international projects. Each 5th Sunday has a different ministry opportunity to support.

International Outreach: MATT25 is going International! More details will be shared later this year.
